Wow, it's hard carving flowers! The butterfly was relatively easy with the exception of the antenna. The flower is a Black-eyed Susan or a salt shaker depending on how much imagination you want to have!!
In order to "see" the flower you need a strong dose of imagination. Look to the left of the butterfly and you can sort of see some dots/pin holes- that's the black center ignite flower and then hanging down are some really droopy petals. Or it's a salt shaker. All I can say is that flowed are hard!'
I don't see a black-eyed Susan. Is this the right photo? I like the reflective photo.

ReplyDeleteOH I get it now. I thought the flower was the body of the butterfly. It looks A LOT better now.
